The new EAW high resolution DB-7 - non-flyable bomber version for the B26 slot.

On May 10th, there was only one DB-7 in all of France. The rest that had been delivered were in North Africa awaiting assembly from their shipping crates. For some reason there was no rush to get them operational. By June, a few had arrived and by the end of summer 1940 GB I/19 and GB II/19 were operational. But the pace of operations in France evidently did not allow enough time to paint the bomber with unit markings, as all photos we have seen of operational Armee de l'Air DB-7s in France were without unit markings.
